The Meadow Home
Portolla Valley, CA
Nestled within the serene Peninsula landscape, this Feldman Architecture residence is sculpted into the sloping hillside. Designed as a creative retreat, the home fosters a dynamic relationship between structure and environment through modern luxury and organic materials. Every detail reinforces this dialogue, ensuring an uninterrupted connection with nature. A separate structure enhances functionality, offering dedicated areas for both work and extended stays. Reflecting the family's artistic spirit, a designated space known as "The Lab" was designed for hands-on exploration. Hidden behind metal and glass doors, it features a sink, ample storage for art supplies, and even a unique lamp with a test tube detail—paying homage to the inventive energy shared by the mother and daughter.
